Victoria Beer Week  March 3- 11, 2017 a nine-day festival of events highlighting a broad selection of BC craft breweries. The week features a wide variety of events that pair BC craft beer with local Victoria food vendors, with a clear focus on showcasing quality BC craft beer and educating beer enthusiasts. Smaller tastings, seminars, and micro-events happen at various venues throughout the week.

Victoria’s brewing history dates back to the mid 1850’s when German immigrant William Steinberger changed his vision of fortune by means of mined gold, to fortune by means of brewed liquid gold sold to many a thirsty miner of Fort Victoria. Fast forward to present day where numerous breweries and a craft beer revolution later has given rise to the latest adventure in fun and flavour..…beer tourism!
