There's pressure on those glorious summer sunny days to get outside and enjoy every last ounce of it.  So now that the misty crisp weather has started to pour in, it's a breath of fresh air to just relax. Here's our Zed Sked for a completely relaxing stay:

Sleep in and have a lazy morning around our lobby drinking awesome free coffee, reading the paper, listening to vinyl in our decadently comfortable listening station, bang out a few Zed postcards on our typewriter’s and maybe play a board game or two if you are ambitious.  Feeling frisky? A little ping pong action is always a great way to start the day.

Book a facial, pedicure, massage, or just a soak in the outdoor mineral pool at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel so that you can fully decompress (they have a pub too).  Get our Zed Bus to drop you off and really make an entrance (the municipality of Oak Bay is firmly behind the tweed curtain).

Later on, peruse one of Canada's prettiest independent book stores; Munro's Books, and then take your finds next door to Murchie's Tea Room for a decadent treat in their casual cafe.  Browse Ditch records, Curious Comics or the Board Game Cafe to find some interesting and eclectic items.  In other words, have a wonderfully unorganized afternoon of meandering aimlessly with no agenda!

Take a deep breath and watch the storm go by at the Breakwater Cafe down at Ogden Point.  Bring a journal, newspaper or a book and just hang.  If the mood strikes a walk on the breakwater is lovely or wander from here along Dallas Road overlooking the Olympic Mountains.

Nap time! Seriously, head back to the hotel for a few quick winks.  Naps are good for you, and you are going to need it as cocktails also say relaxation and this blog is all about relaxing. Clive's Classic Lounge has perhaps the best mixologist in the city and he will most certainly find something perfect for you.  And then afterwards check out Little Jumbo which was voted as one of the best new restaurants in Canada.
