Four Kelowna Patios You Need in Your Life

It’s the Okanagan, you’re in vacation mode and the sun is shining. We know what you’re going to ask next: why aren’t we on a patio? We got you, fam.

1. Hotel Zed rooftop

Sure, it’s BYOB, but it’s private and has a view of the water! Plus, we have a gorgeous fireplace to gather around. Hard to think of a better spot to kick back after a “hard” day of vacationing! We also have a Lido deck with a perfect view of the outdoor pool, if that’s more your thing. For even easier access, just hang out in the mini patio outside your room!

Points for proximity to Hotel Zed and double points for happy hour specials! Earls’ fantastic rooftop patio is just a two-minute wander from Hotel Zed. With their happy hour specials AND their daily food & drink offers, you can spend a fantastic afternoon nibbling and watching the comings and goings of the lake.

3. Old Vines Restaurant at Quails Gate Winery

If you’re willing to venture outside of downtown Kelowna, you won’t be disappointed at Old Vines. Sip West Kelowna’s local wine while overlooking the vineyard—you’ll feel like you’re in an Okanagan postcard! Especially with at sparking view of the lake in the distance.

4. Kelly O’Bryan’s

Some patios you go for the view, and some you go for the party. At Kelly O’s, you get both. But you definitely get a party. Their rooftop patio is big, full and always a good time. Whether you’re intrigued by their lengthy list of shooters or the locally-renowned Pachos order (nachos made with waffle fries!), you won’t be disappointed or bored here!

 

I mean... There are no shortage of epic patios in this city, all you have to do is walk a few blocks and you’ll find another one worthy of a stop on your very own Kelowna pub crawl. Just remember to take in a few snacks, slap on some SPF and stay hydrated so you can do it all again tomorrow!
