Want to spice up your Valentine’s nooner at Hotel Zed? We checked in with local herbalist Lily Fawn about how to cook up your own local love potion to help put the motion in the ocean. #afternoondelight

Love potion #9 for your Valentine

Three herbs that will help warm a cold spell, put you in the mood for sex and get the blood pumping all the way to your pelvis:

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum Zeylancicum) – It will warm you from the tip of your fingers to the tip of your…. It is also a demulcent, which in Latin means to “caress,” so it'll lube up your insides.

Damiana (Turnera Diffusa)  - is one of the best-known herbal aphrodisiacs out there. It is erotically floral and relaxes the mind, helping with depression and anxiety, which is often the number one reason for a lack of sex drive.

Ginko (Ginkgo Biloba) - Sex is all about the flow of energy and Ginko is your herb for that. It dilates the capillaries under the skin increasing sensitivity and enhances blood circulation to the brain and your extremities.

Mix these herbs together for a great DIY aphrodisiac brew. Combine 1/2 oz of each herb, along with one sick of chopped vanilla bean into five cups of water. Simmer on low for three hours, strain and add two cups of honey and two cups of brandy. Enjoy as cocktails with your sweetheart.
