- Ditch Records
Nothing gets you feeling groovy like some vintage vinyl and there’s nowhere quite like Ditch to add to your collection. It’s a local treasure trove of vintage, used and brand new LPs. The store is spacious enough to browse the collections without having to elbow other music lovers out of the way, but it’ll still take you a solid afternoon to flip your way through their vast collection.
- 90210 Night
Sometimes, you just wanna dance it out. 90210 night, or as the locals fondly call it, “90’s night” is a classic weekly event at local favourite Lucky Bar. Don’t underestimate attendance just because it falls on a weeknight: the dance floor will be packed with kids from the 90’s, and kids who wish they were, singing along to the Backstreet Boys, Will Smith and Green Day. Get there early, because the lineups get long.
- The Patch
If you want to go back in time, you have to look the part. Victoria has plenty of amazing vintage expos and shopping options. One of our favourites is The Patch. Located in the heart of downtown, this shopfront is a wonderland for vintage, upcycled and retro-inspired clothing and accessories. Their selection is enormous and their prices are super affordable!
- Cherry Bomb Toys
Every child or child-at-heart is going to go bonkers for Cherry Bomb Toys. This local shop is a hidden gem of retro and retro-inspired toys. It’s like stepping into a time machine to your childhood, no matter how long ago your childhood was! Don’t miss the museum upstairs—it’s a literal treasure trove.
