We may be "rebels" but we like to support our communities too:
Superheroes of Victoria
The Superheroes of Victoria are a free volunteer resource group available for charitable organizations and community groups to use. They are available to help raise money and awareness for charitable organizations, help with logistics and planning an event, or assist by providing extra hands during an event. The local group organizes family-orientated events, volunteers at other externally-planned events, and promote volunteerism in our communities. One of the key recipients of their efforts is the BC Children's Hospital.

Kelowna's Gospel Mission
As soon as we opened Hotel Zed in Kelowna we met with our neighbours at the mission and began a great new friendship. We are pleased to support some of their events with more to come…
In 1977, a few students from Okanagan Bible School visited Kelowna City Park weekly, offering coffee and conversation to park visitors. As winter approached there was an apparent need to shield vulnerable community members from the cold. The students opened a drop-in centre that grew to be Kelowna’s Gospel Mission Society in 1978. By 1985, they had a soup kitchen, a new emergency shelter, and the thrift store. With this foundation, they are able to advance in their mission to lead the community from homelessness into wholeness.
Zed Expo – A Day of Graffiti
In June of 2016, Hotel Zed and Wolf/Sheep partnered together to celebrate the art behind graffiti with the Zed Expo. Visitors to the festival were invited to learn more about this intricate art form and how it differs from its common association with tagging—what is what people most often associate with the medium. Both young and Experienced artists came together to paint the Hotel Zed Victoria’s covered parking area and a temporary wall built just for the event.
